Privacy policy

Your privacy sits at the core of how we operate. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the EU GDPR and Finnish data protection law.

1. Who we are

Finland Assignment Help ("we", "us", "our") provides academic writing support to students in Finland. For the purposes of the GDPR we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@finlandassignmenthelp.com or by post at Aleksanterinkatu 15, 2nd Floor, 00100 Helsinki, Finland.

2. What we collect

We aim to collect as little as possible. Depending on how you use the service, this may include:

  • Contact details you provide — a name or pseudonym, and an email address or WhatsApp number.
  • Order information — your brief, word count, deadline, referencing style, university or AMK, and any files you choose to share.
  • Payment confirmation — we do not store your full card details; these are handled by our encrypted payment processor.
  • Technical data — basic analytics such as device type and pages visited (see our Cookies Policy).

You may use a pseudonym throughout, and we never require your university login or student number.

3. Why we use it (legal bases)

We process your data on the following GDPR legal bases:

  • Contract — to prepare your quote, complete your order, and provide revisions and support.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure and improve our service, and to respond to your enquiries.
  • Consent — for optional analytics and marketing cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Legal obligation — to meet accounting and tax requirements.

4. How we share it

We never sell your data. Your brief is shared only with the assigned writer, who sees the task — not your identity. We use a small number of trusted processors (for example, our payment gateway and secure file storage) bound by data-processing agreements. We disclose data to authorities only where legally required.

5. How long we keep it

We retain order data only as long as needed to deliver your work, honour the revision window, and meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You can request earlier deletion of your personal data once an order is complete.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@finlandassignmenthelp.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto).

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and confidentiality agreements with every team member. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and proportionate measures to protect your data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
